Policies
& Procedures
The
Playground will be open and supervised between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday. Children may choose to go home for lunch
or bring a lunch and beverage with them to eat with the playground staff. Lunch time will be at various times throughout the week, depending on activities planned for the day. This is an open recreation program, not childcare. The playgrounds will be open for children to come and go as they please. If your child leaves the playground prior to the end of the day, it is your responsibility to keep track of his/her whereabouts! This calendar is a tentative guide to activities planned at the playground site. Changes may occur due to weather conditions. The playground program is sponsored by the Woodhaven and Brownstown Recreation Departments Together with the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District. Children must wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes (Sandals are not appropriate for playground areas). All bicycles brought to the playground must be locked (we are not responsible for bikes) Late Fees: If you are late picking up your child there will be a $5.00 charge for every fifteen minutes after 3 p.m. Registration Information: Registration for the Summer Park & Recreation Program will be Saturday, May 30, 2009 & Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. located at 3445 Hall Rd. There are also registration forms available at the Brownstown Office, 24465 Telegraph Rd. On line registration is also available. |
